The engine is running, the sun is shining—and your house battery should use both. That’s exactly what the SRNE MD DC-DC charger is built for. A device that combines power from the alternator and your solar panels to fully charge your leisure battery. For everyone traveling in a camper, motorhome, or van who doesn’t want to choose between alternator power and solar power.

Two sources. One device.
Conventional systems need two boxes: a charge booster for the alternator and an MPPT charge controller for the solar array. The SRNE MD combines both. That saves installation space, reduces cabling, and cuts down on the potential faults that come with two separate devices. Once connected, it charges from anything that supplies power.

Also for modern vehicles with Euro 6 alternators.
Newer vehicles intelligently dial back the alternator as soon as the starter battery is full—budget charge boosters then drop out. The MD doesn’t. With buck, boost, and buck-boost operation, it delivers stable charging power even from a fluctuating Euro 6 alternator. And with over 99% MPPT efficiency, it extracts everything your solar panels can deliver.

Lead, lithium, or tailored to your setup.
Whether AGM, gel, or LiFePO4—you can choose the battery type, plus there’s a custom mode for special cases. Four charging modes fully and cleanly charge your leisure battery while keeping the starter battery in good shape. So the engine starts reliably even after days without driving.

Built for continuous mobile use.
Passive cooling without a fan: no humming at night, no fan to clog with dust and fail. From -35 to 65 °C the MD operates reliably—from winter camping to summer heat. Tested to IEC 62109 and IEC 61000, plus FCC sDoC and RoHS. Not an anonymous bargain-bin part, but a charger built to robust standards.

Camper and motorhome. Drive by day, stay off-grid at night—without shore power.
Van and DIY builds. One less device in the tight cabinet, one less wiring harness to route.
Expedition and off-grid. Where there’s no outlet, every source counts: solar when parked, alternator on the trail.

Selected by AutoSolar. 30 A with 400 W solar input or 50 A with 700 W—you choose the size to match your system. Tested and supplied by AutoSolar so the lights never go out on the road.

Ladespannung
