A solar panel doesn't always have to be the showpiece. Sometimes you just want a light, flexible panel to hang on a balcony railing, lay on a camper roof or screw onto a garden shed — simple, affordable, no big demands. That's exactly what this AutoSolar Flex is here for. And we'll tell you straight where you stand.

Honestly measured: around 120 watts. We originally listed this panel at 160 watts. Our measurements showed that in practice it delivers around 120 watts — noticeably less than the rated power promises. Technically everything is perfect. It charges reliably, the cells work cleanly, and in use you'll notice no limitation. It simply doesn't reach the output printed on the datasheet. Because from now on we only carry products that deliver exactly what they promise, we're clearing the last units — at a price that more than makes up for the 120 watts.

Light enough for one hand. At 2.6 kg, you can mount the Flex easily on your own, without any help. The built-in eyelets make fixing it child's play — the matching mounting hardware is included. Unpack, hang, connect the cable, done.

Shingle technology. Shade matters less. The panel uses shingle cells. Their advantage shows above all with partial shading: the cells are combined into many small strings wired in parallel. If one part is shaded — by a railing, a branch, a clothesline — only that string produces less. The sunlit rest keeps going undisturbed.

Made for balcony railings. The 101 x 89 cm format takes its cue directly from balcony railings. You can mount the panel horizontally or vertically. Mounted vertically, you route the connection cables together at the bottom almost invisibly.

Balcony. A light flex panel for the railing, quick to hang and no drill needed. For anyone who wants to make a sensible contribution to their base load with around 120 watts, without investing much.

    Können Module mit unterschiedlichen Leistungen zusammengeschlossen werden?

    Wir empfehlen, dass Sie nur Solarmodule derselben Grösse zusammen mit einem Regler betreiben, da es sonst zu Verlusten bei den grösseren Modulen kommt.


    Wie viel Ertrag hat die Solaranlage im Winter? 

    Im Winter ist die Sonneneinstrahlung weniger stark als im Sommer. Dadurch kann der Ertrag auf 1/3 vom Sommer Ertrag fallen. 


    Was passiert bei unterschiedlicher Ausrichtung der Module?

    Bei unterschiedlicher Ausrichtung sollten die Solarmodule parallel zusammengeschlossen werden. Damit bei Abschattung nicht beide Solarmodule an Leistung verlieren. 


    Was passiert bei Verschattung der Solarmodule? 

    Durch die Verschattung produziert die Solaranlage weniger Energie. Bei Standorten, bei dem ein Modul verschattet werden kann, sollten die Solarmodule parallel zusammengeschlossen werden.


    Was ist der Vorteil, wenn ich meine Solarmodule in Serie schalte anstatt parallel?

    Bei der Serienschaltung erhöht sich die Spannung der Solaranlage. Dies hat den Vorteil, dass auch bei schlechtem Wetter genügend Spannung vorhanden ist, damit der Laderegler optimal arbeiten kann. Serienschaltung kann nur mit einem MPPT-Laderegler gemacht werden.
