Sunday evening at the pitch. Fridge running, heater running, and tomorrow morning there should be coffee. The only information you have is a display reading 12.6 volts. It tells you everything — and nothing. Voltage under load lies, voltage right after charging lies, and with lithium the curve is so flat that half full and nearly empty are barely a tenth of a volt apart.

A shunt doesn't estimate. It counts. Instead of interpreting voltage, the UNITURA sits in the negative path with a 500A precision shunt and records every amp going in and out. Current accurate to ±0.4%, voltage to ±0.3%. What comes out is a real energy balance, not an approximation. With 500A continuous it also covers large inverters and starter circuits, where cheaper units give up long before.

State of charge in percent. Like your phone. You enter your battery capacity — anywhere from 1 to 9999 Ah — and get a reading anyone understands: 64% charged. 11 hours left at current draw. State of charge is tracked to ±0.1%, remaining runtime to the minute. That's the difference between assuming and planning.

Bluetooth for your phone. RS485 and CAN for your system. Bluetooth is built in — the app shows live values, history and alerts without an extra display. On top of that: an RS485 port and CAN with RV-C protocol, the standard in motorhomes and boats. The monitor talks to charge controllers, inverters and onboard systems instead of measuring in isolation. 60 days of history stay stored, so you see the pattern, not just the moment.

Its own consumption stays below 15 mA, which matters when a vehicle sits for weeks. Operating range runs from -35°C to +65°C. Important: the electronics are rated IP21 for protected installation — battery box, technical cabinet, interior. Not the open engine bay, not the splash zone.
