Featuring the latest technology in highly efficient monocrystalline solar cells and ETFE composite materials, these ultra-lightweight solar panels are perfect for easy balcony installation. An integrated microinverter, which must be limited to a power output of 300 watts, allows you to install the system without professional assistance.

This inverter is equipped with all necessary safety features, so you can simply plug the solar panel set into a standard wall socket. The generated electricity is then fed directly into your home's electrical grid and is available to power your household appliances.

Construction

The feather-light AutoSolar balcony modules weigh just 2.2 kg and can be installed in a flash without any additional tools or aids. Simply use the included mounting straps. Disassembly and reinstallation are just as effortless. Detailed assembly instructions are included.

Connection

Connecting the modules to the AutoSolar microinverter is incredibly easy using the solar connectors (MC4). Finally, you connect the inverter to a standard household outlet using the power cable. And that's it – you're ready to go!

AutoSolar 160 Watt Flex

Our 160-watt Flex solar panel is the ideal solution if you're looking for a flexible and easy-to-install solar panel for your balcony. Weighing only 2.6 kg, you can easily mount it yourself without assistance. The integrated eyelets make installation a breeze. All necessary mounting hardware is included.

Latest technology

Our 160-watt solar panel utilizes one of the latest technologies in solar cell construction: shingle technology. This offers many advantages, especially in partially shaded areas. Thanks to its innovative design, shading has less of an impact.

The shingle cells are grouped into many smaller groups, also called strings, and connected in parallel. As a result, only the shaded strings produce less power, while the sunlit part continues to diligently generate electricity unaffected.

Specifically for balcony railings

When designing our 160-watt Flex, we specifically looked to balcony railings for ease of installation. The 101 x 89 cm dimensions allow for either horizontal or vertical mounting. Vertical mounting enables you to neatly bundle the connection cables together at the bottom.

Solution for tenants

You would like to produce your own solar power, but you're not sure what you need to consider?

The following applies: For anything mounted outside the rented property (specifically: outside the balcony railing or the facade), tenants need the landlord's consent. This is because the landlord (and not the tenant) could be held liable for any damage caused by a falling solar panel. This has often resulted in tenants not receiving permission and thus not being able to benefit from balcony solar installations.

Landlords can grant permission on the condition that the panels are professionally installed and that the tenants assume liability for any damages. A sample agreement was drawn up for this purpose in cooperation with Casafair and the Tenants' Association. (Source: topten.ch)
