The hardest part of a build isn't the work. It's the decision. Which battery with which inverter. Whether the charger handles the alternator. Whether the BMS survives 250 amps when the induction hob kicks in. Two weeks of forum research, three contradictory answers per question — and you still end up ordering on a hunch.

The Unitura Max takes that decision off your hands. Five components engineered as a system, not matched by accident.

Roughly 4 kilowatt hours. And genuinely usable ones. At the centre sits a 12V LiFePO4 battery with 314 Ah — around 4000 watt hours on paper. The decisive difference to lead-acid: you can actually use that energy instead of stopping halfway to avoid wrecking the battery. In practice that means compressor fridge, lighting, water pump, laptop and phones across several days — no hookup, no mental arithmetic.

3000 watts of pure sine. For anything with a plug. The inverter delivers a true sine wave, not the modified version sensitive electronics suffer from. Coffee machine, induction hob, hair dryer, tool battery chargers: 3000 watts continuous covers the loads other builds still need a generator for.

Two charging sources. One controller. The 30A DC-DC charger with MPPT charges from the alternator while you drive — including on modern vehicles with smart alternators, where a simple split-charge relay gave up long ago. At the same time it processes solar through a genuine MPPT tracker. One device, one charging profile, no two systems working against each other.

Twelve circuits instead of a cable nest. The DC distribution box brings order to the part nobody sees later: three outputs at 30A, three at 20A, six at 10A, each with its own plug-in fuse. Plus deep discharge, overvoltage, overcurrent and over-temperature protection. If one load fails, the rest stays live.

Seven inches of overview, fixed to the wall. The display shows state of charge, consumption, charging power and every individual circuit — without anyone having to find their phone first. Even the guest at the table can see what's left.

Adding solar? Up to 400 watts. The kit is rated for up to 400 W of solar. Combine it with the Soltura Pro Series solar panels — all-black, monocrystalline, with hail-resistant safety glass. Then the system charges while you're out hiking.

In a van self-build, the compatibility question disappears entirely. In a motorhome refit, you replace grown-over-time wiring with a documented installation. In an expedition vehicle, what counts is that every component comes from one source when something goes wrong 3000 kilometres from home.

    Wie viel Ertrag hat die Solaranlage im Winter? 

    Im Winter ist die Sonneneinstrahlung weniger stark als im Sommer. Dadurch kann der Ertrag auf 1/3 vom Sommer Ertrag fallen.
